Professional Learning Catalog for GaDOE
The Community Division of the Georgia Department of Education provides programs and resources to teachers and administrators across the state to improve instruction.

Their old system was only available to logged-in users and was based on a calendar plugin so it was not able to accommodate their on-demand courses or their recorded webinars. Learning opportunities were collected via a Google Form and then manually added to the website and catalog. Additionally, the search and filter options were limited and many opportunities were only listed in an extensive PDF.
The system we built allows the GaDOE to quickly and easily update all data in the WordPress platform they were already using regularly. Coordinators input their program information via a form that adds the data to the site only after going through a multi-layered approval process. The site itself is rendered using a very fast JavaScript framework. This gives the users the best of both worlds: up-to-date information in a fast, easy-to-access website.
